·     The NH Fire Academy will be hosting a grant funded "IAFF HazMat Technician" program October 20-31 (Monday through Friday 0800-1700). The IAFF HazMat Technician, the highest level of HazMat certification, is open for registration. This is a grant-funded course that blends classroom and hands-on instruction to teach fire and rescue personnel the IAFF’s risk-based response process over 10 days (80 hours). Participants will learn to analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate a hazardous material incident utilizing state-specific procedures, guidelines, and hazards that rescue personnel will need to address. Students successfully completing the course will receive a Pro Board Hazardous Materials Technician certification from the IAFF. This course provides a technical approach addressing hazard material incidents and is highly recommended for your HazMat specialists or teams. Click HERE for course registration. ·     Gilford Fire Department will be hosting the NHFA, and the "IAFF Fireground Survival Program" on October 13- October 16. Click HERE for course information and registration.

 

·     The Waterville Valley Department of Public Safety is hosting the "ISO Preparatory Class" on December 3, 0800-1600 at the NH Fire Academy Auditorium. Email Michael Morash with your intent to attend, to be registered.

·     Concord Hospital is hosting "Crashing to a Halt" their annual trauma conference. The program is on October 23 from 0800-1600 at SNHU. Click HERE for the course flyer.

 

 

·     The Rumney Firefighters Association will be hosting "Trust Falls and Dumpster Fires, A Leadership Roundtable" on October 4th at 12PM. Click HERE for the program information and FREE sign up.

 

 

·     The Granite State and Lakes Region CISM teams will be hosting a 3 day ICISF program on "Assisting Individuals in Crisis, and Group Crisis" on October 1-3 at the NHFA. ·     Lakes Region CISM along with the Laconia Police Department will be co-hosting Suicide Prevention Training on September 26 from 0900-1200. Click HERE for course information and registration.
